Description
The war party came howling down on us from the tall bluffs, and under the blue sky that stretched away for a million miles they finished off our wagon train. A nine-year-old boy is taken in a raid on a wagon train and adopted by an Arapaho to replace his own son who had died. Raised by Red Stone and Beaver Woman, he learns to see the good and the bad in both Indians and whites and struggles to find where he belongs.
