Allen & Unwin and Wavesound are delighted to announce an audio publishing partnership between the two companies that will see the majority of Allen & Unwin titles produced as audiobooks. A key development of the partnership is a co-publishing programme that will initially see Allen & Unwin and Wavesound co-publish up to a dozen audio titles a year, simultaneously released alongside the print and ebook editions.

 Tom Gilliatt, Allen & Unwin’s publishing director says:

Since starting their audio publishing in Australia they have always supported emerging and established local writers of the highest caliber, publishing many Allen & Unwin authors over the years, including their recent commitment to publishing the audio edition of The Australian/Vogel’s Literary Prize. They are also an independent company with a significant global reach, and major market share in both the US and UK, as well as Australia, which we believe makes them the perfect partner for Allen & Unwin.’
