1) How do I download MARC records for individual products?
While logged in start by searching for, or browsing to, the product that you wish to download a MARC record for.
Next to each product you’ll see a number of icons. If a MARC record is available it’ll be the first icon in the row and look like a hollow blue square with blue grid lines. When you hover your mouse cursor over this icon the tooltip will say “Download the MARC record for this item”.
Upon clicking the icon you’ll be given the option to either: Download the MARC record directly in your browser, or upload the MARC record to an FTP site of your choice.
If you don’t see this icon next to a product that you need a MARC record for it means that no MARC record is available at present. If you require this MARC record urgently please contact our customer services department.
2) How do I download MARC records for my basket?
There are two ways to download MARC records from your basket.
You can download MARC records individually for each product. Look for the icon next to each product that looks like a hollow blue square with blue grid lines. When you hover over this icon it will say “Export MARC.” Upon clicking the icon you’ll be given the option to either: Download the MARC record directly in your browser, or upload the MARC record to an FTP site of your choice.
You can also download more than one MARC record at a time. Either tick the checkboxes next to the individual products, or click Select All. Once you’re happy with your selection click the “Export MARC” button above the basket. Upon clicking this button you’ll be given the option to either: Download the MARC records directly in your browser, or upload the MARC records to an FTP site of your choice.
3) How do I download MARC records for OneClickdigital products (eAudio and eBooks)?
Upon signing up to the OneClickdigital service you should have received details of an FTP site account from which you can download your eAudio and eBook MARC records. If you didn’t receive this information, or have forgotten your FTP account details, please contact our customer services department who will be happy to help you.
Alternatively you can download these MARC records from our website directly but they will lack the customised 856 tag which includes a direct link to the OneClickdigital product page.
4) Can I customise my MARC records?
Currently you can’t customise the MARC records on our website. However, we are aware of this shortcoming and hope to be able to introduce this functionality to our website in the future.
