Dame Judi Dench is one of Britain’s most highly acclaimed and best-loved actresses. With a career spanning five decades on stage, television and in film, Judi Dench is known across the world for her powerful, moving and humorous performances. She has won countless awards, including ten BAFTAs, two Golden Globes and an Oscar. Dame Judi Dench’s received her first Oscar nomination for her role as Queen Victoria in Mrs. Brown and won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Shakespeare in Love. A seven-time Oscar nominee, she has also received nominations for her roles in Chocolat, Iris, Mrs Henderson Presents, Notes on a Scandal and Philomena.
