Stieg Larsson was a Swedish journalist and writer. He is best known for writing the hugely successful Millennium series of crime novels, which were published posthumously. Larsson lived much of his life in Stockholm and worked there in the field of journalism and as an independent researcher. To date, the Millennium series has sold over 80 million copies worldwide, making it the most successful series of all time. Most recently, David Lagercrantz has written and published the fourth title in the series, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, working from the notes and ideas Larsson had written down before his untimely death. This fourth title has been one of the most anticipated books of 2015 and is proving to be a bestseller alongside the three previous titles.
